Slumdog Millionaire

I never really fancy Indian movies all this long because to me they are almost the same. Mostly about love stories between a poor man from a village and a girl from a rich family. The father of the girl is a very bad man and will do anything to keep her daughter away from this poor man.

The poor man will fight till the end for the sake of love and eventually won and live happily ever after. The end...

But, Slumdog Millionaire is very different, maybe it's because the touch of a British director or just maybe it plays by the all new non famous Indian casts. Anyway I just can't help to notice that it has won many Oscars in Hollywood from the newspaper so I decided to watch it.

It is about a slumdog who has reached the level that no one had before in the famous `Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' tv show and some people just don't want to accept that a boy from a slump can go that far. Maybe that's the way it is in India, the poor shouldn't be rich. You guys can watch it to know what happen next and below are some photos of it...

This is movie is not great but it is worth watching. Do watch it and leave your comments.

Happy Thaipusam

Today is one of the most happening celebration here in Malaysia. At least that is my opinion. Why? Well... today all the Indians will come out wearing very colourful outfit and gather at the temple to pray. That's the good thing about today. Praying has always be a good thing.

Later.... they will start drinking and dancing in the middle of the road. Very happening.

Then.... the peak of the event and the MOST happening thing is they will fight among themselves. What a great closure of the celebration. They have been doing this over and over again every year.
But not all of them, just a portion of them.

All that I wanted to say here is, Malaysia is a very unique country to have many races living together. We are all blessed to be able to witness other races cultures and festivals.

Happy Thaipusam to All Malaysian Indians from me.
